Do you take reservations?
We do not accept reservations or call ahead seating for any size party. We are first come, first served only.
Can you accommodate large parties?
We love when family and friends come to Chai Pani to celebrate! We can seat parties of up to 12, but wait times may be longer than average. If your party is larger than that we would be happy to seat you in multiple groups, but we cannot guarantee that you will be seated at the same time or close together. A 20% service charge will automatically be added to parties of 6 or more.
Do you have takeout/delivery?
Yes. We accept takeout and delivery orders online. We do not accept orders by phone. Please note that during busy days, we may turn off online ordering.
Do you have outdoor seating?
Only our Decatur location has outdoor seating.
Are pets allowed?
Service dogs are always welcome inside or out. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on our Decatur location's patio. We apologize, but we cannot allow pets inside at our Asheville location.
Do you offer vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options?
We do! We have quite a few options for each – just ask your server, or browse our menus online.
Is your meat halal?
All of our lamb and chicken is halal.
Do you have a full bar?
Yes, both of our locations do.
Do you have parking?
In Asheville, there is some free street parking throughout South Slope. There are also paid lots and garages nearby. The closest paid garage is on Coxe Ave.
In Decatur, there is parking available in the lot surrounding our building. There is also street parking available. After 5:30PM, Sharian Rugs, a couple doors down, allows for guest parking in their lot as well.
Do you have a cookbook?

Do you sell gift cards?
You can buy gift cards online or in the restaurant! G
ift cards are accepted for dine-in and online orders. Note: gift cards are not valid for Uber Eats or DoorDash.Do you make charitable donations?
Yes, we put money back into our local communities through give-back nights, community initiatives, and donations. We also support initiatives in India that are near and dear to our hearts. Yes! We offer a limited selection of items designed for kids, but also welcome kids ordering from our regular menu!
Can you accommodate strollers and wheelchairs?
Yes.
Do you have highchairs?
Yes, we have both highchairs and booster seats.
